Full description

This hand crafted ballpoint pen in yew wood, is another of my hand crafted twist pens made from the wood of a storm damaged tree. I have given the barrels an angular shape, with the widest points set to the centre, so keeping the balance of the pen at the centre. The wood has dramatic dark lines of spalting - a natural process that occurs as the tree grows.

The yellow gold plate of the tip, clip centre band and top finial compliment the tan colour of the wood, and the pen uses a Cross refill (black ink supplied) which is easily changed by simply pulling both ends of the pen apart and unscrewing the end of the now exposed refill. The writing nib is propelled and retracted by rotating both halves of the pen in opposite directions.

The price includes post and packing.
