CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR SALE, I've reduced most of my prices by 20%. Prices will return to normal 31st January 2025., and all prices still include the cost of post and packing. Please note my last posting date for Christmas is Thursday 19th December.

The puffins seemed to be trying to stare me out on the clifftop where the photo was taken. It simply had to be drawn on a clock.

Full description

This circular wood wall clock with puffins is hand crafted on Sanday, Orkney. This unique clock is 230mm diameter and has a quartz movement which uses one AA battery (not supplied). The three cheeky puffins (I think they are saying "OO you looking at, human?") are hand drawn using pyrography - the art of burning the subject into the wood with a heated stylus, and the original photo was taken on South Ronaldsay, one of the south isles of the Orkney archipelago. The wood used is rubberwood (felled from a rubber tree plantation) and is an old, reclaimed chopping board.

The numerals are small pebbles I have taken from our garden here at Clairdale, the hands are cut by hand from my own hardwood veneer, and are my signature counter-balanced sword shape.

The clock is 230mm diameter and about 40mm thick, and has a wall hanger incorporated into the quartz movement.

The price includes post and packing.
