LIving by the coast is a constant source of ideas. The shapes and textures on the shore always inspire my craft.

Full description
This charming wood wall clock is perfect for your lounge, kitchen, bathroom or bedroom. It is hand crafted using a mix of different woods. Designed and created in my studio by the sea at Clairdale, on the remote Orkney island of Sanday, the circular clock, made from yew, oak and lime, is turned to a flattened disc profile. The numerals are cut from 3mm oak dowel with longer pieces marking the cardinal hours (3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock), with shorter pieces for the intermediate hours. The hands are hand crafted from oak veneer (I make all my own veneers), and the clock has an incredibly quiet ticking quartz movement that uses one AA battery (not supplied). There is a wall hanger built in to the top of the movement, so all you need to do is find a nice place in your home for it to live. The clock is 160mm diameter, and 20mm deep.
The price includes post and packing.
The very quiet ticking movement makes this clock ideal for your bedroom or living room, and the wood grain gives a gentle, restful feeling.
