I am a freelance artist & illustrator, whose work is created using a mixture of chalk pastel, pencil and coloured pencil. I sell Giclee Art prints, drawings, greeting cards, wrapping paper, stickers, ceramic ornaments and coasters, tote bags and wall calendars - all featuring my illustrations!

About this Black Cat Art Print:
Named "Cat Beginning", the inspiration behind this enduringly popular piece was a poem called "Cat Began", by Andrew Matthews, about the primordial cat (see the fabulous poem below)!
As an illustrator, I love to find stories and poems which spark my imagination and give meaning to my work. I also adore cats! This particular cat was inspired by my gorgeous, free spirited cat - Bindu.
I used chalk pastels, pencils and coloured pencils to create this piece and enjoyed adding all the little surreal elements!
This makes a magical and unique gift for a cat lover of any age! The print can be personalised: I can write a dedication on the front: "To (person's name)" or I can write a longer message from you on the back - just let me know!
Limited edition of 300.
