During lockdown I was living in London and I would go on lots of walks through Hampstead and Hampstead Heath, and I noticed an increase in birds in the area. I started off by creating simple watercolour sketches of the birds and then decided to create more detailed illustrations.

Full description
My digitally illustrated Wren has been transformed into an A6 Folded Greeting Card for all bird lovers. Illustrated using the Shale Brush in Procreate, to give the card a hand drawn effect.
My cards are printed in the UK, on 250gsm Tintoretto Gesso card, which gives the card a beautiful texture and comes with a kraft envelope.
The Wren took 55 hours to illustrate and consists of 191,150 'pencil' strokes.
My cards are posted by Royal Mail Second Class so please allow plenty of time when making your purchase.
