A tree of life with peridot gem chips for those of you that want even more colour.
This 130 mm diameter suncatcher has 24 branches filled with peridot gem chips , which is more than my usual 16 branch trees. The back panel is made from an irridised textured clear glass over an avocado green mix base.
The copper wire tree is hand twisted and fitting all the perdot crystals really tested my eyes and patience , but here it is !
The edge of the panel is finished in a traditional lead channel and the tree hang from a nylon cord loop.
