This is a very special design, a stained glass panel entirely handmade using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
It is a 'picture' of a Lake District scene.
I have tried to show the lovely variations in colour of the hills as they fall down, in folds, to the sparkling lake. The lake is textured iridescent glass which makes it shine in shades of turquoise and pink and the sky is streaky blue.
I've used lots of different shades and textures to give the panel movement. The colours change with the light throughout the day.
This stained glass picture is 5.5 x 7.5 inches. It is designed to hang as a suncatcher in the window and I have 'framed' it for strength with twisted wire.
It hangs from a strong silvery chain which is attached to either side of the top by soldered rings. I would recommend that this, to be safe needs to be hung from a proper hook rather than suction hooks as it is quite heavy.
I am very pleased indeed with this piece which looks quite stunning hanging in the window. It also looks rather good hanging against a wall as a picture.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different shades and textures of glass.
I make other landscape designs which you can see in the last photo.
