Hello and welcome to my shop.

I've always loved making things and worked as a Graphic Designer for over twenty years. Nowadays I experiment with paints, fabric, collage and clay and particularly enjoy combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, unique mixed media pieces.

A hand sewn artwork of a barn owl sitting above the brambles in the light of the full moon.

I've created the barn owl and night time scene using layers of batik and cotton fabrics. Embroidery threads, acrylic paints and inks have been used to add texture and details. The glossy blackberries have been created with embroidery threads and seed beads.

The artwork comes in a good quality double mount that measures 9 x 7 inches on the outside with an inside aperture of 4.5 x 6.5 inches.

I've made a matching tag in case you're sending it as a gift.

This item will be shipped via Royal Mail, second class large letter.
