Hello and welcome to my shop.
I've always loved making things and worked as a Graphic Designer for over twenty years. Nowadays I experiment with paints, fabric, collage and clay and particularly enjoy combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, unique mixed media pieces.

Full description
A watchful barn owl sits above the brambles in the light of the full moon.
This little artwork features a textile print of a vintage painting of a barn owl. I've created a night time scene using layers of batik and cotton fabrics. Acrylic paints and inks have been used to add colour and details to some of the fabrics. The blackberries have been created with embroidery threads and seed beads which give the berries a lovely shine.
The artwork comes in a good quality double mount that measures 9 x 7 inches on the outside with an inside aperture of 4.5 x 6.5 inches. It has been signed on the back.
I've made a matching tag in case you're sending it as a gift.
