For this painting I painted a background graduating from white through lavender to purple with a touch of sage green at the bottom for the forest bed. I then used a touch of Paynes grey to pull up the trunks from the flower bed which I then extended to the branches. I taped together a handful of cotton buds which I dipped in various shades of purple to create the flowers. A very effective method of creating abstract flowers and buds.
