This painting is a very modern abstract flower which I really enjoy painting. I began by painting my background in grey and white, carefully blending and shading the two colours. Then I roughly sketched a flower which I filled in with titanium white, and used the pale blue, pale yellow and a very pale grey to define the individual petals. For me it has turned out a very pretty and calm painting.

This is a stretched canvas measuring 42cmx30cm (16"x12") which is ready to hang with string and picture hooks included.
All paintings have a satin protective coating to prevent fading and sun damage.
