I love the different pattens the snowflakes make cascading across the bowl. I have enjoyed playing with a masking technique in order to make this graphic work.

Hand-made thrown stoneware Snowflake Bowl with slip, underglaze and glaze finish
Dimensions: 6.5cm (2 1/2") h x 19cm (7 1/2") diameter
Celebrate the magic of the winter season with this charming snowflake bowl. The sky blue and dark blue slip has been layered on to the exterior of the bowl giving depth to the finish and makes the snowflakes look like they are falling in a snowstorm. Each bowl is hand-crafted by me so no two are alike just like no two snowflakes are alike.
This bowl is perfect for serving treats at apres-ski parties or just generally be a wintery addition to the home décor.
This bowl is food and oven safe though I would recommend hand washing it rather than putting it in the dishwasher in order to preserve it for years to come.
