Full description
This is my ceramic dish with embossed owl design - perfect for jewellery, trinkets or little treasures.
This handcrafted ceramic dish has been created using the slab-work method and embossed with a owl design before it is shaped into a mould. Once dried it has been bisque fired to 1000C, after a gentle sanding it has been hand-painted with a dark brown underglaze with a clear glaze added. After glazing it has had a second firing in the kiln to 1160C.
Size: 10.5 cm diameter x 2.5 cm deep
All my ceramic creations have been individually handcrafted by me with love and care. No two pieces are the same as each one has its own unique characteristics.
It can also be used for nibbles such as peanuts as it is food safe
Self-adhesive cork has been applied to the base to protect surfaces.
