About My Creative Practice:
I’m a ceramic artist and jewellery maker based in Frome, Somerset. I create each piece by hand in my home studio, using slab-building, coiling and sculpting techniques rather than a potter’s wheel. Working with different clays and natural materials means every piece has its own character.
My Journey and Inspiration:
My love of pottery began at school and was rekindled just over seven years ago when I joined a local class. I was quickly reminded how fulfilling and calming it is to work with clay. With encouragement from my tutor and family, I developed my skills, bought my own kiln and opened an online shop. I’m inspired by the making process itself: slowing down, exploring ideas and allowing each piece to develop naturally.
Sharing My Work:
Alongside my online shop, I enjoy meeting customers at craft fairs and makers’ markets across Somerset and the surrounding area. I also run friendly introductory ceramics workshops, sharing the pleasure of working with clay and encouraging others to explore their creativity.
Delivery:
I need a bit of time to get your pottery packaged up. I aim to post all items within 1 - 3 working days of you placing your order but at busy times of year this maybe slightly longer - I appreciate your patience. You will receive an email confirmation once shipped.
UK Shipping:
Due to the significant price rise e.g. 22% for Royal Mail 1st Class postal charges all future orders will be sent out via Royal Mail Tracked 48 - I have adjusted all the postage costs in my Folksy online shop. Please feel free to contact me if your order is urgent and you wish to upgrade to Royal Mail Tracked 24 and I will let you know the extra postal cost.

I am thrilled to bits with these lovely items. They have so much personality and the fact that they are seconds makes them even more special. I follow the Wheel of the Year and these little guys with have pride of place on my altar at the Sabbats most relevant to them. Very well packaged and the seller was super nice too.
