Full description
This is my heart-shaped mandala embossed ceramic ring dish, it can also be used for earrings or as an incense cone burner.
This handcrafted ceramic dish has been created using the slab-work method and embossed with a mandala design. A heart-shaped cutter has been used before shaping into a mould. Once dried it has been bisque fired to 1000C, after a gentle sanding it has been hand-painted with a red underglaze and a clear glaze is added. After glazing it has had a second firing in the kiln to 1160C.

All my ceramic creations have been individually handcrafted by me with love and care. No two pieces are the same as each one has its own unique characteristics.
Self-adhesive cork has been applied to the base to protect surfaces.
