Say bon-voyage to single use beverage cups with my eco-friendly stoneware travel mug.
This handmade stoneware travel mug is thrown on my potter's wheel. When the mug is partially dried the base is fettled and my potter s mark added. Once bone dry it is fired to 1060 degrees centigrade. I decorate the mug by hand with a speckle white Seas Salt glaze and warm matt grey glaze - on the outside and glossy transparent on the inside. It is high fired for a second time to 1222 degrees centigrade.
The lid and sleeve is made of silicon which is made from silica - not plastic - and not derived from petroleum industry. The mug comes with pink or grey silicone lid and two interchangeable grey sleeves; one slim, one wide.
Cup Dimensions (all measurements are approx):
Volume: 280ml - 300ml, 9 - 10.5 floz
Silicone Sleeves: 2.3cm wide & 5.5cm wide (for if you like your drinks super hot)
The mug fits in a standard size car mug holder.
Made with lead free glazes.
Dinnerware safe.
Hand wash.
By the very nature of handmade each mug is unique, the mug you receive may vary slightly from the pictures. Every batch is slightly different making them extra special.
