Get compliments in every coffee shop you go with my eco-friendly stoneware travel mug.
This handmade stoneware travel mug is thrown on my potter's wheel using speckled ivory textured clay. When the mug is partially dried the base is fettled and my potter s mark added. Once bone dry it is fired to 1060 degrees centigrade in my electric kiln for over 24 hours. Once cooled I dip the mug in a satin white and a warm grey glaze creating a unique asymmetrical design- leaving part of the mug raw (unglazed) on the outside. The inside is glazed in a glossy transparent glaze letting the pretty speckle of the clay shine through. It is high fired for a second time to 1222 degrees centigrade.
The lid and sleeve is made of silicon which is made from silica - not plastic. The mug comes with pink or grey silicon lid and two removable grey sleeves. Tell me the lid colour you'd like in the buyers notes.

The mug fits in a standard size car mug holder.
Made with lead free glazes.
Dinnerware safe.
Dishwasher safe but it's kinder to the glaze to hand wash.
By the very nature of handmade each mug is unique, the mug you receive may vary slightly from the pictures. Every batch is slightly different making them extra special.
