Full description
Hand thrown artisan bowl.
Inspired by making these for a restaurant, I threw these on my potter's wheel from cream speckle stoneware clay. Left to dry for a several days before the base was trimmed. Fired to 1060 degrees in my electric kiln it was then decorated with a splash of glossy turquoise glaze. The underneath has been left unglazed revealing the natural texture of the clay. High fired a second time to 1240 degrees centigrade.
