Picasso Jasper is actually a metamorphic limestone rather than true Jasper, with lined patterns formed by iron oxide.
It is thought to relieve stress, bringing wholeness and tranquility.
In ancient Rome, Moonstone was linked to the Moon Goddess Diana and was thought to bring love, wealth and success.
Moonstone is one of India's traditional wedding gifts, and is thought to bring luck in love.
Black spinel is very durable and has high reflectance, making it an excellent stone for jewellery.
The AAA quality faceted beads I have used here are just beautiful, so shiny and sparkly that it is easy to understand why black spinel was often mistaken for black diamond.

Elegant necklace featuring nine 12x4mm matt Picasso Jasper tubes separated by 5mm Rainbow Moonstone and 3mm AAA grade, micro-faceted, Black Spinel.
The necklace graduates to 4mm frosted Black Onyx, and fastens with a simple black toggle clasp.
The clasp is nickel and lead free.
The Black Spinel beads have a lovely sparkle.
The Moonstones are a soft, creamy colour with an inner gleam.
The Picasso Jasper tubes are in varying shades of creamy grey and dark grey with the abstract patterns that earned them their name, and a soft, matt finish.
The overall effect is classy and modern.
This stylish necklace measures approximately 17 inches (43cm), but can be shortened or lengthened if required - just send me a message through the 'contact' button below my shop header.
Your necklace will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a pretty organza gift bag.
