Full description
A stunning piece of stained glass frames in a solid Yew frame. It depicts the famous Sycamore Gap in Northumberland. The iconic image of the sycamore tree lives on and has been that special place for the many visitors who want to capture this magical place.
This is version 5, with each version been unique in the choice of glass used and the specially selected character of the wood with the added beauty of a live edge.
Perfect for a special gift to someone special or why not treat yourself so you can enjoy while relaxing. A sunny spot will add an extra depth to the glass or in an evening place a small back light to give your room an ambient light. The vibrant green holds your interest while the wispy white sky reminds you of summer days at the Gap.
Using my own design, I have hand cut the glass and used the copper foil method.
