I have recently started diversifying and adding more crafts to my repertoire and I am thoroughly enjoying using mixed media to create lots of new pieces including this pretty roses box.

This purple shroom/toadstool themed heart shaped trinket box has been created using lots of different mediums.
The box itself is painted using acrylic paints and I have decorated the lid with airdry clay toadstools and leaves painted with acrylic paints. I have added detailing with purple shimmery wax paste. I have also added clay fern leaves around the outside of the box.
The inner is painted with the same lovely lilac acrylic paint with more shimmery wax detailing.
The whole box is glazed with matt varnish to protect it.
The box measures approximately 15cm at its widest and longest points and is 5.5cm deep
Handle carefully. I recommend using a soft paint brush to clean/dust the box.
Please note: Although I do my best to make sure that the colours displayed in my photos are as accurate as possible, the actual colours may vary slightly due to the differences in monitors and the devices you use to view them.
