Step-by-step instructions (with illustrations and optional 'How to Knit' downloads included) for making a set of three birds.
To make a set of three birds, you will need:
A pair of 4mm knitting needles
Chunky yarn (make the birds in different colours of chunky yarn or all in the same colour)
3 pairs of toy safety eyes (9mm) black
Darning needle
Toy stuffing
White cotton
Felt in pink (or colour of your choice) for feet and beaks
3 little ball-shaped bells (optional)
Metal sewing needle
Each bird measures approximately 9cm by 13cm when finished.
