Butterflies are always an inspiration and I wanted to make a simple black and white illustration of the tortoiseshell - I'm probably working my way through making prints of as many butterflies as I can!
I really love carving all the tiny details and enjoy trying to make them as much like the real thing as I can.
I think this would make a lovely addition to a gallery wall!
