If you're looking for a non wool hat but would rather not wear acrylic then how about this lovely crochet beanie made in a soft bamboo yarn in shades of black, grey, blue and stone. The yarn is 75% bamboo and 25% nylon and has a silky finish, really soft and comfortable to wear especially if you have sensitivity issues.
It measures 20" around and approx 9.5 inches high so has a slightly slouchy fit which is flattering to a lot of face shapes. Being bamboo it is also vegan friendly and would make a great little gift!
