Please enjoy browsing and should you buy a doll she will be packaged in an organza bag. I have been given literally hundreds and will use them until they run out rather than let them go to landfill. Also I have been asked why I don't often repeat combinations of fabric with the dolls. It is because I tend to buy remnant stock where I can, tiny pieces of fabric that are too small for most people to use. So often I have only enough to make one doll. This little mouse is a complete one off. Her dress is hand dyed with brambles from the woodland behind my garden. Fixed with an alum mordant and sugar, the vintage silk is one of those colours that you can only achieve with natual dyes. The flowers have a button eye and each bramble berry is picked out in french knots and beads. She was a joy to make xx

Full description
This is Bramble, a tiny mohair mouse. A Special Order for Stephanie.
She is a hand embroidered mouse with little leather ears and tail. She is dressed in a an applique and embroidered dress with a bramble pattern on hand dyed vintage silk. I dyed the fabric myself with brambles from the woods behind our garden. She has coordinating underskirts in Liberty Lawn with tulle lace and cotton lace bloomers. Her dress is finished with organza ribbon, tiny buttons and little leather shoes.
She is softly stuffed with rose petal, bramble leaves and rose hips in her stuffing for a gentle scent and she has a tiny rose quartz crystal at her heart for love. She has a brass ring to her back in case you want to place her on the wall.
She stands 7 inches tall
She is a folk doll for grown ups and sadly is not suitable for children to play with.
