I love creating animals with character, this lovely boy called for a black ear, he could be called Clarence. I like to paint the bisque fired items with a wash of black, I then sponge this back so it leaves the definition for the features but also any marks from being handmade in the clay. I started by making gifts for friend who lost their pets, I then decided to start selling what I make at local craft fairs and also here on Folksy.

Full description
Ceramic dog with character, made by coiling and pinching the clay. Fired then hand painted with glaze and fired again. I love creating animals with character and also undertake commissions. He is approx 14 cm tall.
