A palm sized mini vase, perfect for those daisies your children pick for you that you “must keep forever!”
These are solid and sturdy and sit flat on your table top. Hold under the tap to add a little water then dry the sides and add your little one’s flowers picked fresh from your walk in the garden. Your flowers won’t last forever, but they’ll keep for a day or too and the kids will be happy that they made a beautiful flower arrangement.
These are a popular item in my shop and I try and make some with every batch of work.
Using a “pinching” technique I form a small vessel which I then bring back in on itself to close it back into a sphere. Once the piece is leather-hard I add the holes and smooth out any marks and grooves left by my hands. Some of these pieces are smooth and round whilst I have accentuated the grooves on others.
