Full description

This small pendant has a cabochon of turquoise smoothly bezel set in sterling silver and finished off with a simple loop bail. The turquoise is a beautiful duck egg blue with light grey veining, a calming colour but not wishy washy in any way. Turquoise is one of the birthstones for December (the other is tanzanite) and I'm sure the birthday girl would love to receive this, it comes gift boxed complete with a sterling silver chain. Measures approx 23mm (inc bail) by 13mm across.

(I purchased the turquoise stones direct from the lapidarist whilst in Jaipur and my understanding is that it has not been treated so it would be advisable to avoid getting hair spray/ perfume/ moisturiser/ sun screen on it in case it causes discolouration, Tibetan turquoise has a tendency to turn green as the copper within the mineral changes oxidation state)
