I am happy to wrap and send gifts direct to recipients with a note - just specify their delivery address when you check out (I use either special delivery or track 24 so you can follow it round the country to the recipient). Full description
This oblong pendant features a stunning piece of ocean jasper with a pretty pattern of peach and cream orbs on a mossy green back ground. The ocean jasper is bezel set in sterling silver and is finished off with a simple loop bail and 18 in silver snake chain. The jasper switches from having a micro crystalline structure to more of a macro crystalline structure towards the bottom of the pendant and if you look closely you can see where the crystals mesh together (it is an open backed setting so you can hold it up to the light and see the crystal structure better). The oblong shape is gently round rather than sharply angular. Measures 52mm (inc bail) by 17mm and comes gift boxed.
Ocean jasper comes from Madagascar and gets it's name from the fact that originally it could only be mined when the tide was out. The original seams of ocean jasper have now been mined out but due to the popularity of this stone prospectors are looking for more, until they find a new source it is becoming increasingly hard to find quality material with defined orbs like this has.
