I started raising money for Toybox on 25th August 2023, and to date £219.56 has been raised by my lovely Folksy customers, £180.06 of which was transferred to Toybox between 20/11/23 and 5/04/23.

The earrings have been made using a tutorial from Ellad2, an inspirational Serbian jewellery designer who allows products made from her patterns to be sold by the makers. Her pattern is a bracelet pattern called ‘Kite Bracelet’ which I have adapted as earrings.

Full description
These stunning earrings hang from classy gold-filled (rolled gold) oval ear hooks. Each earring is a beaded bead: a bead made from smaller beads. I have used beautiful kite beads in an antique matt gold colour with deep red 4mm firepolished beads with an AB (aurora borealis) coating to help them catch the light. Tiny gold coloured seed beads complete the earrings.
Each earring is 2.8cms (1.1 ins) long from the bottom of the earwire, and about 1.9cms (0.75 ins) wide.
These earrings are made by a process called beadweaving, by which the beads are sewn together by strong beading thread (not unlike fishing line).
A necklace and a bracelet in a matching design and colours are available in my shop.
I will post your earrings to you wrapped in acid free tissue paper and in a sturdy cardboard postage box.
WHEN YOU BUY THIS ITEM £8 WILL BE DONATED TO TOYBOX, A CHARITY HELPING STREET CHILDREN ACROSS THE GLOBE. This amount is calculated by subtracting materials and admin costs from the price of the item. I do not charge for my time in making it.
