I started raising money for Toybox on 25th August 2023, and to date £257.56 has been raised by my lovely Folksy customers, £237.06 of which was transferred to Toybox between 20/11/23 and 8/11/24.

The necklace has been made using a tutorial from Ellad2, an inspirational Serbian jewellery designer who allows products made from her patterns to be sold by the makers. Her pattern is a bracelet pattern called ‘Kite Bracelet’ which I have adapted as a necklace, adding the cubic right angle weave ‘chain’ to give flexibility and make it easier to fasten the clasp.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
This striking beadwoven necklace consists of a continuous chain of 19 beaded beads made from pretty kite beads in a beautiful antique matt gold colour, and from deep red 4mm firepolished beads with an AB (aurora borealis) coating to help them catch the light. Tiny gold coloured seed beads complete the piece, which has a gold-filled (also known as rolled gold) toggle clasp for ease of fastening. Gold-filled components have a thicker gold coating than gold plated making the gold layer more durable; less likely to wear away.
The necklace is 47cms (18.5ins) long and 1.5cms (0.6ins) wide at its widest part. The necklace is not as heavy as it looks as the beaded beads are hollow inside. However it is weightier than some of my pieces, weighing 66 gms (2.3 oz).
Earrings and a bracelet in a matching design and colours are available in my shop to make a pretty set.
I will post your necklace Special Delivery, wrapped in acid free tissue paper and in a sturdy cardboard postage box.
