Aventurine is a form of Chalcedony, a compact and microcrystalline Quartz.
Other well-known gemstones belonging to this group include Agate, Jasper and Onyx.
Green Aventurine, like most green stones, is thought to bring inner peace, tranquility and enhance self-esteem.
It is sometimes called the the Stone of Luck, or the Gambler's stone, as it is believed that carrying a piece of Aventurine in the left pocket will attract wealth and good fortune.

Full description
On either side of five 6mm green Aventurine beads I have strung a trio of Swarovski 'light peach' crystal bicones and trio of green stars, two 6mm light green Jade stars and a 9mm sage Green Aventurine star.
The stars are highlighted with tiny 2mm sterling silver beads.
The 6mm green Aventurine and 6mm New Jade beads graduate to a mix of 4mm New Jade (serpentine), Green Aventurine and peach Mashan Jade (dolomite marble).
The necklace fastens with a Tibetan silver rose toggle clasp that is nickel and lead free.
This pretty necklace measures approximately 16 inches (41cm).
Your necklace will be wrapped in tissue and presented in an organza gift bag.
