We live very close to Trentham Gardens so are blessed with being able to see it through the seasons. This particular image was inspired by a walk that we took which became increasingly foggy as dusk fell, with flocks of noisy geese suddenly appearing in flight across the water and disappearing again as they flew down the lake.

Full description
This is an original handmade 3-stage reduction linocut of the lake at Trentham Gardens, Staffordshire. It is one of a very limited edition of only 8 impressions. The image is 28cm x 18.5cm on 38cm x 28cm Somerset Satin 250gsm paper. Each print is hand-inked and hand-printed, so each is slightly different giving them each a unique quality. As this is a reduction print, the lino plate is gradually cut away during the process so that no more prints can be made.
