I was approached to make a double handled mug for a customer that could only find plastic sippy cups. I then received more requests with different needs and from there the DigniTEA range was created.

Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

This mug has been hand thrown on a pottery wheel in stoneware clay.
It features a ridge in the centre of the mug and a squared handle. This is to allow the user to lift the mug without support from the other hand. The ridge becomes a thumb support and counter acts the balance, whilst the fingers/hand is inserted into the handle. When using the handle in this manner please ensure that the contents and outside of the mug aren’t too hot to handle before using.
The mug was dried slowly once the handle was added, over a few weeks. It was then fired to over 1000°c in a bisque firing. It was then glazed and fired again over 1200°c.
Height - approx 10.5cm
Volume - approx 230ml / 8 1/8 fl oz to the brim
Weight when full to the brim 515g / 1lb 2 1/8 oz
Distance from outer cup to inner handle at largest part approx 3cm
I only use food safe glazes. Dishwasher and microwave safe.
Just remember that although safe, dishwashers can be brutal places for pottery.
If multiple items are purchased at the same time, I will combine postage where possible. Ensuring any excessive postage is refunded.
