I was approached to make a double handled mug for a customer that could only find plastic sippy cups. I then received more requests with different needs and from there the DigniTEA range was created.

This mug has been hand thrown on a pottery wheel in stoneware clay.
It features the side loop to help with steadying the mug whilst lifting and drinking by resting the loop on the 2nd hand. The loop may also be used as a pinch hold - it isn’t for poking a finger through.
It also features the cut out on one side. This allows the cup to be lifted without tiling the head back. It also helps those that have difficulty swallowing.
The mug was dried slowly once the handle was added, over a few weeks. It was then fired to over 1000°c in a bisque firing. It was then glazed and fired again over 1200°c.
Height - approx 10cm
Volume - approx 127ml / 4 1/2 fl oz to the brim
Weight when full to the brim 462g / 1 1/4oz
I only use food safe glazes. Dishwasher and microwave safe.
Just remember that although safe, dishwashers can be brutal places for pottery.
If multiple items are purchased at the same time, I will combine postage where possible. Ensuring any excessive postage is refunded.
