This tactile artwork was inspired by a postage stamp designed by the artist Hundertwasser whose work I admire greatly.

Full description
Homage 2 is an original mixed media/oil painting on canvas with painted sides. It also features machine and hand embroidered textiles to create a rich, colourful and textural artwork. I created this piece by building up the canvas surface with layers of mixed media including, various papers, leaf skeletons, foils, and Hundertwasser postage stamps then over-painting it all with oil paint. I added pieces of silk, fabric and various shiny foils and wrapping paper which I machine embroidered and then stitched onto the canvas, by hand.
The size of this painting is 50 x 60 with a depth of 1.5cm. It hangs from d rings with picture twine.
Post and Package is free in the UK. It will be well packaged in bubble wrap and cardboard and sent in the UK by Royal Mail.
