Full description
Rose and Ivy macrame wall art original, hand crafted onto a bamboo ring. Each petal and leaf has been individually knotted by hand before assembling together into a stunning wall decoration.
The Rose is a delicate combination of pale pink and peachy orange The variegated ivy twines round the ring in and out of the outer decoration and compliments the warm glow of the Rose.
There are 7 large Ivy leaves and 5 smaller ones. The rose comprises of a total of 20 hand knotted petals which sit on the sepal. following down the stem there is a trio of rose leaves.
I have used florists wire in the stems of the Rose and the Ivy.
The rose and the Ivy have been made from 100% cotton bakers twine whilst the pattern created round the bamboo ring has been made using 100% recycled cotton from bobbiny.

It is a truly delightful piece that will look beautiful wherever you display it.
I have used a very diluted version of DecoArt SoSoft fabric acrylic which is a water based medium to add the detail to the petals and ivy leaves.
Any excess paint and the water used to clean the brushes is left to dry naturally so it can then be disposed of in the bin and not down through the water course.
