Full description

Orthoceras Abound! A pretty set of 6 substantial orthoceras stone coasters for home decor. A great gift as durable as well as pretty, a useful set of coasters but a great gift for Father’s Day perhaps, or for a fossil collector or enthusiast.

Or just someone that likes black and grey tones.

You could gift all six to one person, or split into separate gifts.

Each coaster is unique in its pattern and spread of orthoceras fossils within.

Each has been polished so smooth and shiny, some areas are more or less polished than others, with natural depressions and pits. Please review all the photographs, you will get this exact set of 6 fossil coasters.

Orthoceras are the fossilized remains of an extinct marine animal of Cephalopod family. They are ancestors to the modern day squid and octopus and are dated to the Devonian Period about 400 million years ago.

Each orthoceras coaster measures approx 10cms in diameter and approx 6mms in depth.
