This piece was inspired by inspired by a small section of one of my mixed media paintings, and was in a British Tapestry Group exhibition called Threads in Sheds.

Full description

This is a small, one of a kind, unframed tapestry weaving, handwoven with a mixture of wool, cotton, rayon and silk yarns. I have used a pink coloured wool warp, and I have varied the texture and materials in the weft, mixing yarn with silk fabric strips. It is stitched onto a piece of linen mix fabric which measures approx 21 x 21cm and is ready for framing in a standard frame, readily available online.

It will be well wrapped in tissue and card and posted with Royal Mail. Where possible I reuse packaging to reduce cost to the customer and to the environment.
