I've been fascinated by the intersection of textile crafts and mathematics for many years and hacking my knitting machine has given me the ideal way to express the beauty of the patterns that arise in this area. This piece uses the four stages of the glider formed in Conway's Game of Life to create a simple but striking fabric.
