A lovely medium polished half ammonite Cabochon, with druzy caves, which would be suitable for display, photographic prop, custom jewellery making, or crafting project.
An ideal gift for an fossil enthusiast or collector.
This ammonite is one I have not got round to setting into a crafting project as yet, and wondered if there were any budding artisans out there looking for a small project to under take.
Equally it is lovely as it is and could be just added to a fossil collection, I have even seen ammonites set into pictures of models and figurines, I am sure there are many of you out there with plenty of imagination!
The back of this specimen have been carefully smoothed and cleaned, yet left as near to the natural and rustic as possible, leaving some shell, which blue, green and red iridescence, the front has been very carefully smoothed and polished, so that it is completely flat and wonderfully tactile and allow you to see the inner beauty of the ammonite and has some druzy caves in a few of the Ammonite sections.
Warm amber brown, cream and sandy brown colours with grey brown too. Please review all the photos, this is the exact half Ammonite you will receive..
This is a medium specimen, measuring approximately 40mms in length, approx 32mms in width, with a depth of approx 11mms, measurements taken at the ammonite's widest points.
To safeguard this item during transit, it will come bubble wrapped and in a protective padded envelope or box.
