I enjoy crocheting with natural fibres, mainly cotton, and many of my home decor items use recycled braided cotton cord or recycled cotton T shirt yarn. All items are ready to post and I only charge postage on your first item. Your order will be sent by Royal Mail 2nd class post.

I love making useful items for the home and I've wanted to try using crochet as the basis for a clock for a long time. After much trial and error I've finally done it!

Full description
This pretty clock has a crocheted clock face made from cotton yarn in pastel colours and is decorated with crocheted white daisies and pink polyanthus flowers in place of numerals. It is attached to an 8 inch / 20cm round wooden embroidery hoop and backed with felt, handsewn to the edge of the crochet clock face on the back of the clock.
Internally, the clock mechanism is fastened to a circle of foamboard that provides a sturdy backing for the clock face too. The clock hands are made of white plastic and the second hand moves continuously with no sound.
The clock will stand on a shelf or can be hung on the wall. It requires one AA battery (not supplied). The mechanism is non-ticking, so the clock makes no sound when working, and can be used in a bedroom or other quiet place and will not disturb you.
