Hello! Welcome to my Folksy Art Shop.
I am a UK based artist living in the West Midlands where I produce the original linocut prints and paintings. My work is inspired by all the lovely places I have travelled to and collected photo's and memories of over the years. Nature and landscape are 2 of my biggest inspirations.
I graduated from Birmingham Polytechnic in Graphic Design back in 1988 and have practised my art ever since. For a number of years I specialised in pen and ink drawings but over the past few years I have explored other media, and I'm always open to trying new materials and art forms.

My memories of this place are extremely vivid, so although I have used my photographs as reference this artwork is as much about how I remember my visit to this lovely place as the way it looked in reality.

Full description
This original coloured pencil drawing is an imagined scene based on memories and photographs of a lovely holiday some years ago at Skipness, Kintyre, on the Scottish coast.
The drawing measures approx. 11 inches x 9.4 inches - eighths of an inch.
The left hand side of the mount board is cut slightly ragged.
I created the drawing on Daler-Rowney mount board using a mixture of Caran d' Ache Luminance and Faber-Castell Polychromos and Derwent Coloursoft coloured pencils.
I have signed the drawing in the bottom right hand corner. I will also provide a small certificate of authenticity.
The drawing will come to you unmounted and unframed.
I will send the drawing out to you via 1st class Royal Mail Signed For delivery service. Any other orders made at the same time will be included in the package free of charge.
