Hello! Welcome to my Folksy Art Shop.
I am a UK based artist living in the West Midlands where I produce the original linocut prints and paintings. My work is inspired by all the lovely places I have travelled to and collected photo's and memories of over the years. Nature and landscape are 2 of my biggest inspirations.
I graduated from Birmingham Polytechnic in Graphic Design back in 1988 and have practised my art ever since. For a number of years I specialised in pen and ink drawings but over the past few years I have explored other media, and I'm always open to trying new materials and art forms.

The lovely and popular riverside walk at the City of Worcester is a favourite walk for a sunny afternoon in any season. The cathedral is glorious, but this little picture is more about the happiness of walking on a sunny afternoon than attempting to capture that beautiful and profound building.

Full description
This is an original mixed media artwork of Worcester Cathedral, which stands on the banks of the River Severn in the city of Worcester.
I have used a little artistic licence for this picture, as the near bank of the River Severn is actually based on a photograph I took a little further along the river bank.
The artwork was created using a mixture of dip pen and Indian and Acrylic Ink along with a mixture of Faber-Castell Pitt Artists Pen, Sakura Pigma Pen and Caran d'Ache Museum Aquarelle, Supracolour II and Faber Castell Albrecht Durer artists' watercolour pencils. The artwork has been created on watercolour Paper.
The artwork measures approx. 6.6 inches x 4.6 inches. It will come to you within a mount which I have cut myself (and backed) which measures 10 inches x 8 inches, to fit a frame of this size.
It will come to you in a cellophane sleeve, wrapped in tissue paper, in a board backed envelope. I usually add a piece of card cut down from a recycled source, to add a little more protection while the artwork travels through the postal system.
I will send the artwork by Royal Mail's 1st Class Signed for Service in the UK and International Signed For or Tracked for overseas.
Any additional items purchased at the same time will be sent at no extra cost.
