My world of donkeys! Those familiar with my prints might be aware that I create a lot of prints featuring donkeys. I don't think they are championed nearly as much as they should be in the art world, so I feel it is my job to do so.

Full description
This is a 3-colour reduction linocut print entitled 'Magic Donkey No.8'.
This print is one of a continuing series that I have made focussed on donkeys and their adventures in a strange and abstracted place. This print featured a magic donkey standing on a rock contemplating a helping hand which accompanies them on their adventures.
The prints started as a way to celebrate donkeys, as I feel they are somewhat undervalued in art and society, and as time has gone on the compositions have become more and more surreal!
Slate grey, burnt orange and mustard yellow inks on off-white Daler-Rowney 220gsm acid-free paper. From a tiny edition of 9, signed and numbered. The print is a 'reduction linocut', which means that the whole print is cut from one piece of lino, printing layers, and cutting out more areas until the print is finished. This means that the edition sizes are generally small, and no more can be reprinted from the lino afterwards!
The print image measures H14.5xW9.2cm.
The paper measures H21xW14.85cm
All prints will be posted flat in a cellophane sleeve and protective packaging.
