This was inspired by Van Gogh and his painting La Crau with Peach Trees in Blossom, with its subtle strokes of colour and contrasting warm and cool tones.

Full description
Homage to Van Gogh is a one of a kind weaving which has been handwoven with a mixture of wools, cotton, rayon and silk, in various shades of blue, lilac, green, yellow and orange. The warp is a random dyed cotton mix yarn and I have woven with a fairly loose weft so the the warp colour show through to become an integral part of the design.
It is stitched onto a piece of stone/grey linen fabric and framed in a simple white frame with no glass, which measures 25 x25cm.
It will be well wrapped in tissue and bubble wrap and posted with Royal Mail. Where possible I reuse packaging to reduce cost to the customer and to the environment.
