Jewellery boxes are made from FSC®-certified cardboard and water-based glue. Jewellery box inserts are made from tall oil, a by-product of wood pulp industry. All paper, card, glue, inks and delivery boxes used are made from recycled materials.
I love collecting discarded, lost, forgotten, damaged or just not wanted any more. My favourite places are rivers and beaches, but also find great things at recycling centres and charity shops. I’m lucky to live near the River Tees, Co Durham and often walk the banks picking up broken glass, pottery anything that can be cleaned and re-created into something new. Bits and bobs of lives all waiting to find new homes.

Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Additional terms
Hand crafted Jewellery and framed artworks using pre loved and discarded ceramics. Ceramic material will show signs of wear and damage. Entire process is a creative experience from discovery to final picture, nothing planned or preconceived. All materials personally collected from river banks, charity shops, roadside, woods, recycle centres, beaches, wherever dropped, dumped or donated ceramics are found, cleaned and shaped into new stories. Each piece comes with a short bio of where the ceramic came from, date found and re-created. Some shards collected are used as found, others are cut randomly which shape the final work. Every piece is individual, nothing replicated, however, due to repetitive patterns in ceramics there will be some similarity but only through the ceramic material not in the final piece.

In August 2020 I bought a box of mismatched and damaged ceramics from a charity shop in Darlington, North East. It was filled with odds and ends, broken decorative wall plates, tea set and mugs.
I like to allow the ceramic to break in random shapes so I sealed the box and dropped it. This created some amazing pieces, two stand out bits were from a decorative wall plate. Similar in size and amazingly from the same part of the design, green flower, brown background.
These earrings are made from those two bits of ceramic, circular in shape but not exact. Front glaze in tact, back and sides smoothed and sealed with Eco Friendly matt sealant.
The idea is to create new from old, found by chance and unique. The finished piece isn’t meant to be perfect or highly polished but instead retain part of the original character including marks and scratches.
Each circular earring approximately measures 12 mm across and 2 mm thick.
Sterling Silver 925 posts and butterfly backs.
Delivered in gift box made from FSC®-certified cardboard and water-based glue. Presented on Jewellery box insert made from tall oil, a by-product of paper production. Sustainable gifts, complete with short bio.
