“The Labrador Portrait 4 was modelled on Tess, a wonderful older girl who lived with two other companions and a beautiful flock of guinea fowl! Tess had a habit of sometimes tipping her head slightly when she was watching you attentively, which made for a gorgeous pose. I sculptured her as she had looked at a slightly younger age, to give the look the energy her family captured in all her photos.”
