Full description
Dragonfly brooch.
Approximately 4cm square in size. Brooch pin attached on the diamond.
Background is made from mixed, upcycled textiles, needlefelted and free machine embroidered. A mix of Harris tweed scraps and merino wool tufts, with cotton threads is used to create my backgrounds.
A dragonfly is hand embroidered in shimmering thread, before a brooch pin is hand sewn to the wool felt backing.
The brooch pin is attached so the brooch is worn on the diamond.
