Grungy upcycled denim and a warm salmony pink leather star motif makes this shoulder bag a real statement piece. It's been designed and handmade by recycling denim jeans and using small leather off-cuts. It’s large and roomy, slouchy and generous - perfect for all your everyday essentials and more!
Both front and back of the bag have usable jeans pockets.Inside, it’s lined with a pink retro style cotton poplin; additionally there's a slip pocket divided for phone, pens etc, and a further slip pocket with a plastic snap closure for added security. For those of us who lose our keys in the bottom of our bag, there's a bronze coloured swivel lobster clasp secured to the inside of the bag with a grosgrain ribbon. A bronze tone magnetic closure secures the opening of the bag, with an additional flap closure using a piece of the jeans waistband.
The shoulder strap has been made from the waistband of the jeans and keeps some of the original detailing. The strap is approx 4.5cm wide, sits comfortably on the shoulder and on the inside has wording from the original jeans. All adding to the character to the bag.
The bag is slouchy and light to wear but has been carefully constructed to be sturdy enough for everyday use and would pack flat for travelling.
Measurements (approx): depth at centre 39cm, width at widest point 43cm, shoulder drop 38cm (total strap length 75cm approx)
