Daisies in a Retro Bird Mug

I painted this image on my iPad using Procreate in Summer 2022. I wanted to do a series of summer flowers in retro mugs celebrating the work of the ceramic designer John Clappison and I decided to do two daytime pieces and two night scenes.

This night scene is of daisies in a mug inspired by John Clappison's Partridge in a Pear Tree design.

My digital artwork has been professionally printed on recycled 250GSM paper and measures 297mm x 210mm, while the actual artwork measures around 255mm x 180mm.

The price is for just the print.

I aim to post orders within 24 hours of receiving them. Orders received at the weekend are normally posted on Mondays, with the exception of Bank Holidays.

Your print will be carefully wrapped in tissue paper and posted by Royal Mail 2nd Class in an A4 "Do Not Bend" envelope.

My inspiration for this piece was John Clappison's Partridge in a Pear Tree design, one of his first for Hornsea Pottery, back in the late 1960s.
